Random Act of Kindness - Valentine's Day Roses

As my RAK nomination I decided to drop off 3 dozens roses on Valentines Day to various senior citizens that have lost a loved one. I was initially reluctant to do this on film (video not seen here) because I felt that a random act of kindness should be done privately, but after more consideration I realized that a public act of kindness has to be done both privately and publicly, offering encouragement and validation to others to do the same.

Random Act of Kindness #11

This is something that is often overlooked. We sometimes forget that to invest in others we first have to invest in ourselves.

This is something that we so often overlook. You need to take time to love yourself in order to share that love with others.

Random Act of Kindness #1

As of a few days ago, I made the decision to do one random act of kindness per day. This was inspired by Zach Sobiech‘s passing. He made me realize (again) how fortunate we all are for the life we have.  Our individual contribution in making this world a better place doesn’t have to be big one, it just has to be out of love. So my intent is to post one random act of kindness a day (which I commit to myself) on this page, in hopes that it will spur others to do the same. :)
